We had a Kick Playing this Game (P. Goodman, 2009-01-06)
I read all the reviews before purchasing this game for my 10 year old granddaughter. Some loved it and some did not (from their posting it appeared that they were males in their 20's or 30's). We played the game at Christmas and all of us, ages from 10 to 61 had a ball, males and females!! And yes, grandma is the Cheer champion of the family, at least for now. I am consisting going out and purchase the game from myself so that I can retain the position of champion, but more for the fun workout it has when you play it. I would have liked more songs I know, but oldies, are not always what the younger generation wants. We did not find it hard to figure out and enjoyed trying to keep up with the movements. Isn't that what the Wii is all about? Getting you up and off the couch and having fun doing it. It did for us.
Great game (Mardee, usa, 2009-01-05)
I bought this game for my 11 year old daughter, and I love it too! it is so much fun! it gets you moving and thats what counts. doesn't use wii board which i think is a plus because you can jump around and act crazy!! We haven't even begun to unlock anything because it can be kind of hard to follow the moves and get the hang of it. If you are thinking about buying this game I would recommend it.
Love It!!!
This game is completely awesome! You even exercise while playing. The songs in this game are so cool. When I first got the game I did'nt know what kind of songs there would be. The game is fast and exciting. You really have to get up and move. I am not a fan of games where all you do is sit in a chair. Thats why I was so happy with this game. Also it is just so much fun to play. I would'nt recamend this game for anyone under the age of 8 because at first it is a little challenging. I hope more people will get this game.
SO HAVE FUN!!!
A game the whole family wants to try (T. Distaso, North of Boston, 2009-01-03)
I hesitantly bought this for my 6 year old Daughter. I thought it could be too hard for her. She hasd't really taken to any of our other wii games so I was trying to find stuff that would really peak her interest. TO my surprise she REALLY Enjoys trying this game! Even if someone else is playing she will stand next to them and try the moves. Luckily she doesn't get discouraged if she passes or fails. If you have a child who would be easily discouraged that could be a problem while learning the moves. She really enjoys moving to the music!
My 8 year old son has also tried and enjoyed the game as have Mom and Dad!
It is always fun to find games we all want to play as a family.
Lots of fun (Dawn M. Jackson, 2009-01-02)
I bought this game for myself as it looked like a fun way to get off the couch. It is a lot of fun and really works the arms, back and abs with all the movements. I've been using the Wii Fit for the step workout (legs) and yoga, and then We Cheer for my arms. It's really entertaining and you can work up a sweat with it. Granted, the interface is lame, and tedious, but there's an option to skip over most of it. My hubby cracks up over this game, and my kids like playing it too.
